Mr. Ferdinando Abordi acquires the company renaming it “CDR Pompe e Motori ”

The evolving market requires new and sophisticated product, shifting the production into stainless steel and special alloy pumps. Soon the factory enlarge the product portfolio to horizontal and vertical, single stage pumps addressed to the chemical industry

The factory starts the production of pumps made from plastic materials , and Mr. Maurizio Abordi, son of the founder, took the leadership of the company, giving an input to develop new solutions, keeping the focus to applications custom made for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. At that time, the Research and Development ends with the breakthrough fabrication of the first plastic and metallic magnetic driven pumps

CDR Pompe develops the first lined plastic pump, using materials such as PP and ETFE, useful for applications with toxic and corrosive liquids. The experimentation with materials continues, up with the introduction of an even better quality material, the PFA.

the Company moves into new owned premises in Bollate (Milan), and today Mr. Francesco Abordi, son of Maurizio, joins the team: the 3rd generation is ready for the new challenges!

CDR Pompe launches to the market a specific line of pumps for the North American market with innovative features and outstanding performance characteristics.
